Kyle Busch will start from the pole after posting the fastest lap during single-car qualifying on Wednesday night. Chase Briscoe will join him on the front row after having the second-fastest time.
Joey Logano won the first Duel race, so he will line up directly behind Busch. Chase Elliott won the second Duel race, so he will join Logano on the second row. Both of these drivers passed post-race inspection, so they retained their wins.

The rest of the top 10 includes Ryan Blaney and Carson Hocevar on the third row; Austin Dillon and Kyle Larson on the fourth row; and Brad Keselowski and Michael McDowell on the fifth row.
Multiple drivers will have to start from the rear of the field after wrecks during the Duel races. This includes two-time Daytona 500 winner William Byron, who pursues his third consecutive season-opening win from the 20th row.
Ross Chastain will line up on the 19th row after going to a backup car. Chris Buescher will line up in the 41st position after going to a backup car.
Daniel Suarez currently holds the 15th spot in the starting order. However, he will also drop to the rear of the field after going to a backup car.
Jimmie Johnson, who took the Open Exemption Provisional that guaranteed a spot in the Great American Race, will line up on the 16th row next to rookie Connor Zilisch.
The Daytona 500 is unlike any other event on the NASCAR schedule in that teams set the starting order through multiple on-track sessions. The single-car qualifying session only set the front row and locked two Open drivers — Corey Heim and Justin Allgaier — into the Daytona 500.
The Duel races set the rest of the starting lineup. The first Duel race set the inside row while the second set the outside row. These two qualifying races also locked Casey Mears and BJ McLeod into the Daytona 500.
Anthony Alfredo originally beat out McLeod to take the final spot in the starting lineup. However, an issue with a cooling hose led to NASCAR disqualifying the No. 62 Beard Motorsports Chevrolet. This eliminated Alfredo and moved McLeod into the big show.
