Craftsman Truck Series driver Frankie Muniz surprised his followers on social media with a long post detailing struggles in his personal life.

He explained that he is going through a chapter of his life that have felt like a nightmare. He didn't provide details, but he explained the toll that it is taking on him.
"The last 6 weeks of my life have been a nightmare I'm praying to wake up from," Muniz wrote. "Everything felt heavy, unclear, and like it was falling apart at the same time. I wouldn't wish this season on anyone.
"The unexpected gift in the middle of it is that I've had nowhere to hide. I've had time to sit with myself, do real self-reflection, and finally see the areas of my life that need work if I want to become a better version of me. Not the polished version I show the world...the actual one.
"I read that sometimes hitting rock bottom is the thing that wakes you up. It forces the changes you needed to make all along so you can live the best life possible. That idea has been sitting with me. In five years I believe I'll look back at this exact low point and feel grateful for it, because the high I'll be standing on then only exists because I went through this."

Muniz continued his post and said that this is not the end of the story. He said that he will be doing the work that is uncomfortable, unglamorous, and necessary. He said that this season of his life is a foundation instead of a finish line.
He ended by telling his followers that they are not broken if they are also dealing with a low point in life. Instead, they are being rebuilt.
The actor and Craftsman Truck Series driver has experienced highs and lows in his life this season. He starred in the limited return of Malcolm in the Middle, and he won consecutive Pirelli GT4 America races at Road America. He also took part in a family outing at a soccer game.
Muniz also revealed that he and wife Paige have decided to end their marriage after 10 years together. They remain committed to co-parenting their son, but divorce is not an easy part of life.
The NASCAR side has also featured some difficult outings as Muniz has continued to drive for Team Reaume. He has started 17 races so far this season while posting an average finish of 26.1. His best finish is 16th in the season-opening race at Daytona.
