Hendrick Motorsports has announced that it will compete in a 10-race schedule in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
The HendrickCars.com No. 17 Chevrolet Camaro will once again be on the track in 2024.

The car, with the paint scheme and number that owner Rick Hendrick's son Ricky drove in the Truck Series, will have all four of the team's Cup drivers getting a shot behind the wheel to try to reach Victory Lane.
According to Jim Utter from Motorsport.com, 2024 Daytona 500 champion William Byron, 2021 Cup champion Kyle Larson, 2020 Cup champion Chase Elliott, and Alex Bowman will all pilot the No. 17 this season.
There is also a little wrinkle, as road-course ace Boris Said will get another shot behind the wheel as well.
Byron will be the first one to race the No. 17, as he will pilot the car for four races this season starting on March 9 at Phoenix Raceway. He will have his lead engineer for his No. 24 Cup car, Brandon McSwain, as crew chief for his No. 17 races, the other three of which will come at Darlington, Pocono and Watkins Glen.
As for the six other races on the schedule for the team, Greg Ives will serve as crew chief when Larson jumps behind the wheel for the races at Circuit of the Americas in Austin and the Chicago Street Course.
Bowman gets a shot when NASCAR heads to Loudon, New Hampshire, during the summer. Elliott will get to pilot the No. 17 at two of the more historic tracks on the Xfinity schedule, at Charlotte and the fall Darlington race.
As for Said, he gets the honor of piloting the car at Sonoma.
With Hendrick Motorsports celebrating its 40th anniversary season, it only seems right it continues entering the No. 17 in the Xfinity Series.

"The sponsorship has been a big success for HendrickCars.com and our dealerships, and we're pleased to add more races and take it to another level in 2024. It's Victory Lane or bust."
The car has made 10 starts in the series over the past two seasons, winning three poles and earning seven top 10 finishes. The many drivers aboard the car have also accounted for three runner-up finishes.
It would mean a lot to Mr. H if they can get the No. 17 to Victory Lane in 2024.
