How to watch Xfinity elimination race at the Roval: Start time, TV

CONCORD, N.C. — NASCAR Xfinity Series drivers have completed two races of the Round of 12. Now, they head to the Charlotte Roval for an elimination race.

Twelve drivers will enter Saturday's event in contention for the Xfinity Series championship. Only eight will advance to the semifinal round of the playoffs. Although three drivers have already secured their spots in the next round.

Brandon Jones, Justin Allgaier, and Connor Zilisch will compete in Saturday's race while waiting to learn which other five drivers join them in the Round of 8.

Xfinity Series elimination race at Charlotte Roval info

Weather: The WeatherUnderground forecast calls for sunny skies throughout the day. A high of 77 degrees and no chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity Series elimination race.

Green flag time: The command to fire engines will be at 4:58 p.m. ET. The green flag will wave at 5:10 p.m. ET.

Starting lineup: Qualifying takes place on Saturday at 12:40 p.m. ET. The CW app will provide coverage.

Pre-race: The Xfinity Series garage opens at 10 a.m. ET. Driver introductions will take place at 4:30 p.m. ET. Pre-race coverage begins with "NASCAR Countdown Live" on CW at 4:30 p.m. ET. Race coverage continues on CW at 5 p.m. ET.

The invocation will take place at 4:50 p.m. ET. The performance of the national anthem will be at 4:51 p.m. ET.

Stages: The race will consist of three stages. The first stage ends at Lap 20. The second stage ends at Lap 40. The scheduled end of the race is Lap 67.

Playoff picture: Jones punched his ticket to the Round of 8 by winning at Kansas Speedway. Zilisch and Allgaier both advanced on points after the playoff race.

Sam Mayer enters the Roval at 43 points above the cutline. Taylor Gray is behind him at 16 points above the cutline. The other drivers currently in a position to advance include Sheldon Creed (+12), Carson Kvapil (+9), and Jesse Love (+5).

The four drivers below the cutline include Nick Sanchez (-5), Austin Hill (-7), Harrison Burton (-8), and Sammy Smith (-14).

Past winners: Xfinity Series teams have competed at the Charlotte Roval seven times. Only one active driver has a win at the track. Mayer won the elimination races in both 2023 and 2024. Cup Series drivers AJ Allmendinger (2019-22) and Chase Briscoe (2018) accounted for the other wins.
