NASCAR has plenty of youth in its ranks, and that is across more than just the Cup Series.

Daniel Dye is a full-time Craftsman Truck Series driver at just 20 years old and is coming off a rookie season that saw him finish 18th in the standings with one top 10 finish. He also made his first two Xfinity Series starts in 2023, with a 17th-place finish at Texas and a 21st-place finish at Las Vegas.

Those performances with Alpha Prime Racing appear to have opened the door for an even bigger opportunity in 2024.

Dye will be behind the wheel of his No. 43 Truck for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in 2024, but he has also gotten a call-up for 10 Xfinity Races in 2024.

Kaulig Racing announced on X the addition of Dye along with sponsorship for him. He will pilot the No. 10 Chevrolet for the team, as the car will be fielded part-time.

"Hard to CONTAIN our excitement about this one!" Kaulig Racing wrote. "@danieldye43, Champion Container, and @RaceToStopSui will join Kaulig Racing in the No. 10 Chevrolet for 10 races starting at @Daytona! #NASCAR #TrophyHunting,"

Kaulig Racing is always looking for up-and-coming talent, and that looks to be what it has in mind with Dye.

According to Nick DeGroot from motorsport.com, Dye's 10 races will start with the season-opening race at Daytona. He will also drive the No. 10 at Martinsville Speedway, Dover Motor Speedway, Iowa Speedway, Pocono Raceway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Michigan International Speedway, Kansas Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the season finale at Phoenix Raceway.

It isn't clear if those are the only races the No. 10 will be on track for Kaulig, but adding Dye gives the team plenty of excitement for the 2024 season. It also will have full-time cars for Shane van Gisbergen (No. 97), AJ Allmendinger (No. 16) and Josh Williams (No. 11).

With all of that talent, Kaulig will be a contender to win every week and perhaps this opportunity for Dye will result in a future full-time opportunity with Kaulig.
