Kyle Busch had plenty of changes during the 2023 season, including going from Joe Gibbs Racing to Richard Childress Racing.

While it was a good first campaign with three wins for RCR, Busch had a very unmemorable 2023 playoffs.
It was so bad for him that he wasn't even a factor in the new Netflix Series, "NASCAR: Full Speed," which pretty much glossed over the driver of the No. 8 Chevrolet.
When trying to tell the story of 10 races in a five-episode series, it's going to be challenging to cover every driver, and quite a few NASCAR drivers were left out of the show. However, Busch is one of the most polarizing drivers NASCAR has.
That's why it was odd not to hear something from the two-time Cup champion.
Robert Edelstein from TV Guide magazine asked Busch, Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano a question about how the show portrayed them following Saturday night's Busch Light Clash.
That got them all laughing, especially since Busch made a mere cameo in the show.
"I came across amazing, I think I was the star of the show," Busch joked. "How about you guys?"
Blaney went along with the joking as well, quickly replying, "I loved watching you in it. I loved it."
Perhaps Busch will have a much bigger role to play if there is a second season of "NASCAR: Full Speed, especially if he can build off a successful 2023 season that saw his first win at Gateway and his monumental win at Talladega, which was the first for him at the track since 2008.
While Season 1 of the series is plenty interesting, more of a Busch presence would only boost the show given his sense of humor.
Busch finished runner-up in the Clash, so maybe he is about to embark on an even more successful racing season that will enable him to go from cameo to starring role in a potential second Netflix season.
