The Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will feature a special scheme honoring the late Kyle Busch, who passed away on May 21 at the age of 41.

Kyle Larson and Hendrick Motorsports will use the race in Busch's hometown to honor his memory. The No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro will feature a tribute to the car that Busch drove to victory lane at Bristol Motor Speedway back in 2007.
The Camaro will have the red, blue, and neon yellow color palette that Busch used on his Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet. HendrickCars.com will serve as the primary sponsor for Larson, whereas Busch had Carquest and Kellogg's on his car.

The tribute will also feature Busch's signature above one window. "Tiny Kyle," Busch's nickname for Larson, will remain above the driver's side window.
The tribute will provide an opportunity for Hendrick Motorsports to support The Samantha & Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund. A portion of proceeds from special tribute merchandise will be donated to the organization.
The race at Bristol took place on May 25, 2007. Busch started 20th in his No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, but he worked his way to the lead on Lap 289. He led nine laps during the middle of the race, and then he led the final 20 laps before beating Jeff Burton by 0.064 seconds.

I'm thankful to HendrickCars.com, Samantha Busch and the entire Busch family for allowing us to do this and celebrate what Kyle meant to me and so many others across the sport."
This scheme at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will mark the second time during the Chase that a driver honors Busch's memory during a race weekend. Ty Gibbs and Joe Gibbs Racing will bring back M&M's at Bristol Motor Speedway to run a scheme celebrating the two-time Cup Series champion's life.
