It has been a busy offseason for Legacy Motor Club, as it has quickly transitioned from Chevrolet to Toyota and added John Hunter Nemechek to its driver line-up. 2024 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee and team co-owner Jimmie Johnson has some big news of his own to share, as he has added more races to his schedule for the upcoming season, thanks to a new sponsor for the team.

According to NBC Sports, Dollar Tree and Family Dollar will have a major presence at all 38 races in the Cup Series, sharing appearances on Johnson's No. 84, Nemechek's No. 42 or Erik Jones' No. 43 car in 2024.
Rick McNeels, the Chief Merchandising Officer for Dollar Tree was thrilled to make this announcement and is excited to be part of NASCAR once again. He once served in a similar role with the brand's top competitor Dollar General, who had a strong run in the sport with Joe Gibbs Racing.
"We are thrilled to sponsor Legacy Motor Club and spotlight our brands to fans of the exhilarating and high-octane sport of NASCAR," McNeely said in a statement. "Watching Dollar Tree and Family Dollar take off into one of the most-watched sports in the country is a great start to the year."
As for Johnson, announcing the addition of the new sponsorship has also increased the possibility for races for him to run in 2024. His total reported number of races is up to six after adding Dover (April), Kansas (September) and Las Vegas (October) to his previously announced schedule that included Texas (April), Kansas (May) and the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte.
The soon-to-be Hall of Famer is in for a busy 2024 and Legacy looks to be heading in the right direction. Catch Family Dollar and Dollar Tree on the cars of both Nemechek and Jones at the Busch Light Clash on Feb. 4.
