The NASCAR playoffs continue with a busy weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. All three series will be in action as drivers battle for spots in the Championship 4.

Truck Series teams will continue the Round of 8 with a Friday afternoon race. Xfinity Series teams will then take center stage on Saturday afternoon. Cup Series teams will cap off the weekend with a Sunday afternoon playoff race.
This weekend will not feature practice sessions for any of the national series. Teams will just go directly into qualifying while following the superspeedway track schedule.
Talladega Superspeedway forecast and weekend schedule
Friday forecast: The WeatherUnderground forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies throughout the day. A high of 84 degrees and no chance of rain at the start of the Truck Series race.
Saturday forecast: The forecast calls for sunny skies in the morning and partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. A high of 85 degrees and no chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity Series race.
Sunday forecast: The forecast calls for cloudy skies and thunderstorms in the morning. A high of 75 degrees and a 34% chance of rain at the start of the Cup Series race.
