"We were ready to fight the weather, and appreciate the collaboration with Winston-Salem and NC officials to make the best decision. Our operations team is hard at work for a Monday race!"

The WeatherUnderground forecast calls for more favorable conditions on Monday. This will mark the first time in multiple days that the temperatures will be above freezing. The skies will also be clear, so NASCAR and the teams should not face any more challenges of snowfall.

The forecast calls for temperatures of 28 degrees at the start of practice, 36 degrees at the start of the LCQ, and 33 degrees at the start of the Clash. The area will only have a 3% chance of precipitation.
