The track is getting in on the fun by hosting Dega-Con, a multi-day celebration of the NASCAR-themed film. This event will feature a screening of the movie, appearances by select cast members, and multiple other unique moments.

Talladega Superspeedway has now provided the list of cast members who will appear for a reunion on Saturday, Oct. 24, after the end of the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race. This group includes one of the antagonists of the film and multiple surrounding characters.

Talladega Nights Cast Members Appearing at the Reunion

  • Greg Germann - team owner Larry Dennit Jr.
  • David Koechner - crew member Hershell
  • Ian Roberts - crew member Kyle
  • Grayson Russell - Texas Ranger Bobby

Germann portrayed Larry Dennit Jr., the man who inherits the race team and becomes the boss of Ricky Bobby (Ferrell). He clashes with his star driver and attempts to find ways to replace him in the lineup. This process includes bringing in Formula 1 driver Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen).

Koechner and Roberts played two members of Ricky Bobby's crew while Russell played one of Ricky Bobby's sons. Russell played the son who famously yelled, "Chip, I'm all jacked up on Mountain Dew" during a dinner scene.

The weekend's festivities will also feature a special screening of Talladega Nights on Friday, Oct. 23. This will happen in Big Bill's event area after the Craftsman Truck Series Chase race ends.

Saturday afternoon will then kick off with a mullet contest featuring special guest judges. This competition, which takes place at 12 p.m. CT, will not mark the first time that the mulleted fans have shown up en masse. Tracks have previously hosted mullet contests with such guest judges as Josh Williams.
