This weekend marks the first time since the 2019 season that NASCAR has competed at the track outside of Joliet, Illinois. Alex Bowman won the last Cup Series race there while Cole Custer won the last O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race there.

Both series will be back in action at Chicagoland Speedway this weekend, as will the ARCA Menards Series. The Craftsman Truck Series is off until Lime Rock Park on July 11.

This weekend marks the second round of the $1 million In-Season Challenge. Sixteen drivers will enter, but only eight will advance to the third round.
