As a result, the sanctioning body will set the starting lineup based on the qualifying metric. Tyler Reddick won last weekend's race at Kansas Speedway, and he will start from the pole position at Talladega Superspeedway.
This marks his fifth time starting from the pole position this season. He won the pole three times and started first due to rain twice.

Kyle Larson will join Reddick on the front row after finishing second last weekend at Kansas Speedway. This is his first front row start since Phoenix Raceway in March and his second of the season.
The rest of the top 10 will include Denny Hamlin, Bubba Wallace, Chase Briscoe, Brad Keselowski, William Byron, Chase Elliott, Ty Gibbs, and Chris Buescher.
The drivers who will line up between 11th and 20th place will be Ryan Preece, Carson Hocevar, Austin Cindric, Christopher Bell, Ryan Blaney, Daniel Suarez, Riley Herbst, Austin Dillon, Todd Gilliland, and Alex Bowman.
O'Reilly Auto Parts Series champion Jesse Love will have to start 37th as he makes his second Cup Series start of the season and his first at Talladega Superspeedway. Daniel Dye will line up 40th as he makes his Cup Series debut with Live Fast Motorsports.
The entry list had 41 cars, so owner's points came into play. This meant that Casey Mears did not make the race.
He was scheduled to drive the Beard Motorsports entry, but this team has no owner points this season due to failing to make the last race it attempted. Anthony Alfredo and Beard Motorsports did not qualify for the Daytona 500 after a failed post-Duel inspection.
The Jack Link's 500 Cup Series race will take place at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday. Fox will provide coverage with Mike Joy, Clint Bowyer, and Kevin Harvick in the booth.
