The Straight Talk Wireless 500 at Phoenix Raceway will feature a Team Penske car leading the field to the green flag. Joey Logano has won the pole for the Cup Series race at a track where he has celebrated two of his three championships.

Logano, a four-time Phoenix winner, won the pole with a lap of 26.561 seconds. This is his 34th career pole win and his third at the 1-mile oval track.
Kyle Larson qualified second at the track where he won his second Cup Series championship last November. He posted a lap of 26.678 seconds. Larson has started inside the top 10 at Phoenix Raceway a whopping 20 times in 24 attempts.

The rest of the top 10 included Austin Cindric (26.731), Daniel Suarez (26.744), Ryan Blaney (26.747), Ross Chastain (26.757), Carson Hocevar (26.758), Tyler Reddick (26.787), William Byron (26.791), and Josh Berry (26.814).
Suarez led the morning's practice session with the fastest time. Hocevar ranked second in speed. Chase Briscoe, Chastain, and Cindric were all top-five in practice speed. Briscoe ultimately qualified 20th with a lap of 26.897 seconds.
Cindric had the fastest 10-lap average speed among the Cup Series drivers. He has not won a race at Phoenix Raceway in his Cup Series career. His best finish at the oval is 11th in the 2022 season finale.
Reddick, who goes for his fourth consecutive win on Sunday, became the sole Toyota driver inside of the top 10. Denny Hamlin qualified 11th overall with a lap of 26.819 seconds.
Only one driver failed to make a qualifying lap at Phoenix Raceway. Brad Keselowski blew a right-front tire and crashed into the Turn 3 wall. His team had to pull out the backup car, which meant that he would not have the opportunity to complete a fast lap.
The Straight Talk Wireless 500 at Phoenix Raceway will take place on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET. FS1 will provide coverage with Mike Joy, Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer in the booth.
