Tony Stewart Will Join Clint Bowyer in the Broadcast Booth for 2 Major Races This Year

"I'm teammates with Clint Bowyer again."

You may remember that Clint Bowyer closed out the last four seasons of his full-time NASCAR career driving the No. 14 Ford for Tony Stewart's Stewart-Haas racing. While they were never technically "teammates," per se, the above quote from Stewart was in reaction to the news announced last week that he will be joining the FOX broadcast team for the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum on February 6, alongside Bowyer and Mike Joy.

Stewart will also be an analyst for the Daytona 500 on February 20

"To call the very first Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum AND the Daytona 500 is an opportunity you don't pass up," Stewart said in a FOX Sports release.

"The size and scope of both these races is massive, and it's an honor to be a part of them with FOX. Anytime you get to talk racing with Clint and Mike, you're going to have a good time."

"Looking forward to having ol' Smoke in the booth with us to get things kicked off," Bowyer said in a tweet if his own. "Sure to be fun!!"

Ahead of the big announcement of the news last Saturday, Tony Stewart introduced NASCAR legend Red Farmer during his Hall of Fame induction ceremony Friday night. The Stewart-Haas Racing owner used the opportunity to thank his longtime manager Eddie Jarvis, which Stewart forgot to do during his own HOF induction speech in 2020.

"Two years ago when I was on this stage we had to firesale my speech in the last three hours before the ceremony, and I forgot one crucial person in my life, that not only was my manager, but also one of my best friends and a second father to me," Stewart said.

"Eddie Jarvis, thank you for everything you did in my career. Sorry, it took two years to make up for missing this two years ago, but we got you tonight."
