The OEM partner has won the NASCAR Cup Series Manufacturers' Championship for the fourth time since entering the top level of stock car racing. It has also snapped Chevrolet's five-year streak of Manufacturers' Championships in the process.

The Toyota Racing Development drivers have delivered 18 wins this season. Tyler Reddick has won six times for 23XI Racing, including Sunday at Phoenix Raceway. He also won Toyota's first Daytona 500 since the 2020 season.

Denny Hamlin has delivered four wins for Joe Gibbs Racing. Chase Briscoe has won three times for Joe Gibbs Racing, including twice in the Chase. Ty Gibbs has also won twice for JGR. Corey Heim has won two races for 23XI Racing while running a part-time schedule.

Christopher Bell has won once for JGR this season while capturing another crown jewel. He won the Southern 500 that opened the Chase.

"Our team members at TRD, along with our partners at 23XI Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, and Legacy Motor club, have delivered at the highest level all season," said Tyler Gibbs, president, TRD, USA.

"This is a very important title for Toyota and TRD because it represents the teamwork, effort and passion of countless people across our organization and throughout our teams. We couldn't be more pleased to have that work pay off with our fourth manufacturers' title."

The 2019 season marked the last time that Toyota won the Cup Series Manufacturers' Championship. The affiliated drivers combined to win 19 races that season while Kyle Busch won the championship for the second time in his career.

Toyota first claimed the Manufacturers' Championship in 2016 on the strength of 16 wins. The OEM partner claimed the championship in 2017 after its drivers combined for another 16 wins. Martin Truex Jr. also won the Cup Series championship.
