According to a Wednesday announcement, Tricon Garage and Honeycutt have agreed to an extension that will put him back in the No. 11 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro as the series switches to the FedEx Freight Truck Series. He will continue to pursue wins and the championship.
This marks the second driver deal announced by Tricon Garage on Wednesday. The team also confirmed that Gio Ruggiero will return to the No. 17 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in 2027 as he takes on his third full-time season.

Honeycutt, a Texas native, has competed in the Truck Series since 2022 and full-time since 2025. He has switched teams multiple times while making the postseason twice.
Last season, Honeycutt started the year with Niece Motorsports. He drove the No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado in 16 races, but he lost his seat after news surfaced that he would switch to the Toyota Racing family.
Still seeking an opportunity to compete in the playoffs, Honeycutt made one start for Young's Motorsports. He then took over the No. 52 Toyota for Halmar Friesen Racing after Stewart Friesen sustained a significant injury.
Honeycutt reached the playoffs and he raced his way to a spot in the Championship 4 while driving Friesen's truck. He ended the season third in the championship standings.
This year, Honeycutt's first in the No. 11 Toyota, has featured multiple big moments. The Texas native broke through and won his first national series race at Watkins Glen International, one day after winning the ARCA Menards Series race at the road course.
Honeycutt has since won three more races — Richmond Raceway, Kansas Speedway, and Phoenix Raceway. He has taken the championship lead from No. 1 seed Layne Riggs with three races remaining in the season and built up a 39-point lead.
Whether or not he wins the championship this season, he will move forward knowing that he has a secure spot for the 2027 FedEx Freight Truck Series season.
