Ubisoft shares details about 'The Crew Motorfest' NASCAR update

Ubisoft announced in October 2025 that it would bring the Cup Series to "The Crew Motorfest" video game as part of a Season 9 update. Now, the developer has shared some more details ahead of the March 4 release.

The open world racing game will add some Cup Series cars to the robust lineup, and it will put gamers on the path to racing stardom in an entirely new arena. After all, "The Crew Motorfest" takes place in Hawaii instead of in the continental United States.

Players will not control an existing driver such as Joey Logano or Kyle Larson. Instead, they will take over an entry for Team Henson. They will try to become the NASCAR Motorfest Tour Champion, which will require defeating the biggest names in the Cup Series.

The particular character in this narrative is someone who dealt with a devastating setback. They have to rebuild their career from scratch and earn qualification once again.

The NASCAR playlist, which will be free, will task players with completing 10 events. They will start on The Speedway track as they aim to prove themselves to Coach Roy Henson. Once they accomplish this, they will try to reach the Finals consisting of three races.

They will not simply race around the tracks. The players will have to use the draft, and they will have to use some pit strategy to ensure they are in contention for the win at the end.

The NASCAR playlist will also include a bonus event in a "brand new playground," one that Ubisoft says pushes the limits of skill and imagination. The developer did not provide more information in the fact sheet acquired by FanBuzz.

Once players become the NASCAR Motorfest Tour Champion, they will not have to give up the Cup Series cars. Ubisoft says that the game will have 16 authentic NASCAR vehicles. This includes three main models and 13 team versions.

"The Crew Motorfest" is available for purchase on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Amazon Luna, Steam Deck, and PC through the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam.
