BRISTOL, Tenn. — Actor Brad Pitt had a wild, new experience on Saturday night. He rode passenger with NASCAR Hall of Famer Jeff Gordon around Bristol Motor Speedway.

Pitt headed to the Tennessee short track while promoting his new film, Heart of the Beast. He served as the grand marshal for the Cup Series night race, and he told the drivers to start their engines.
Yet, he didn't depart the track after giving the command. He actually climbed into the passenger seat of a Black Chevrolet Corvette. Gordon climbed into the driver's seat, and then he completed several laps around the short track while Pitt could only hold on.

Gordon didn't ease onto the gas either. He just stomped on it while leaving the start-finish line, to the point that the back end of the Corvette wiggled multiple times. He joked that it meant that the tires were cold.
"Oh my," Pitt said while laughing. "Oh my." He repeated this phrase several times as Gordon giggled in delight. He also clutched his chest multiple times.
"It just feels so raw and scrappy, man," he said as they pulled back into the garage area. "Dude, the adrenaline is crazy."
The star of countless blockbuster films took some selfies with Gordon before exiting the Corvette, but he did not yet depart the track despite needing to travel to Spain for a film festival. He actually remained in the garage area.
Pitt headed up to the rooftop victory lane, and he spent a considerable amount of time watching the Cup Series drivers battle for position.
He took in the full experience on Lap 18 as countless fans waved their Kyle Busch rally towels in honor of the two-time champion, who passed away on May 21 at the age of 41.
The Corvette ride capped off a busy day for Pitt, who joined several other special guests at Bristol Motor Speedway. This group included Super Bowl-winning quarterback Russell Wilson, wrestling Hall of Famer Ric Flair, two-time IndyCar champion Josef Newgarden, and professional wrestler Charlotte Flair.
