Samantha, a lifestyle blogger, entrepreneur and IVF advocate, first met Busch in 2007 while working as a promotional model during a racing event in Indianapolis. At the time, she was attending Purdue University and had little knowledge of NASCAR.

According to Samantha, Busch quietly arranged for someone to offer her a ride after the event, eventually leading to the start of their relationship. The two married on New Year's Eve in 2010 during a lavish Chicago ceremony that later aired as a television special titled "Fast and the Fabulous: A NASCAR Wedding."

Throughout Busch's racing career, Samantha built her own public profile through blogging, fashion ventures and advocacy work. She became especially vocal about infertility struggles after the couple experienced miscarriages and challenges with IVF treatments.

In 2015, the couple welcomed their son, Brexton. Their daughter, Lennix, was born via surrogate in 2022 after years of fertility treatments and setbacks.

Samantha later launched the Bundle of Joy Fund alongside Busch to help families cover IVF-related costs. She also authored a book detailing her fertility journey and appeared on the CMT reality series "Racing Wives," which chronicled the personal lives of NASCAR families.

Following Busch's death, many fans revisited Samantha's past comments describing her husband as her "rock" during difficult times.

"So many people only know the aggressive and strong-willed side of him that he shows when he is on the track," Samantha previously told PEOPLE. "But the Kyle that I know is so different from that."
