According to a press release, HP and Hendrick Motorsports have extended their relationship through the 2029 season. The company will continue to be a primary sponsor for Byron for two races annually.

HP will also continue to have branding on the car, the equipment, and the team's firesuits while serving in an associate partner role.

This relationship began in October 2022 as HP joined the No. 24 team. The company then first took over the Chevrolet Camaro as a primary sponsor during the 2023 race at the Charlotte Roval as Byron finished second behind AJ Allmendinger.

The primary sponsorship continued with the spring 2024 race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the 2024 Bristol Night Race, the 2025 spring race at Phoenix Raceway, and the 2025 race at World Wide Technology Raceway.

This season, HP has taken over as the primary sponsor of the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro during the summer race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The company will return for this weekend's race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

And while the veteran driver hasn't celebrated a win with HP as a primary sponsor, the company has been along for the ride as an associate partner.

"Since HP joined the No. 24 team, we've won two Daytona 500s and a regular-season championship," Byron said. "They've been part of some of the biggest moments of my career, and I'm proud of what we've accomplished together.

"We're delivering on the track and creating value for their business. That's what great partnerships do, and we want to keep building on our success."

This relationship will now continue into 2027, 2028, and 2029 as HP takes over the No. 24 for multiple races. Though the scheme will change as Hendrick Motorsports brings back the signature neon yellow door numbers for all of the team's entries in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and Cup Series.
