The Legacy Motor Club Toyota will feature a dark base resembling carbon fiber and pinstripes running the length of the car. The doors and roof will feature blue and white numbers using colors from the Carvana logo. The hood will have the Dunkman logo highlighting Shaq's signature dunk.

The scheme does not feature the exact same colors, but it bears a resemblance to the Orlando Magic uniform Shaq wore during his first four seasons in the NBA.

The Toyota Camry XSE may feature Johnson as the driver, but it will also have an associate partner highlighting the four-time NBA champion. The Reebok logo takes up space on the sides of the Cup Series car.

Back in October 2023, Reebok announced that Shaq had become the company's first president of the Reebok Basketball Division. Allen Iverson was named the vice president of the division.

The unique Carvana scheme is the result of a friendly wager between the two champions. Johnson challenged Shaq to a free throw contest in the weeks leading up to the Daytona 500. The winner of the contest would have the opportunity to design the Carvana scheme for the crown jewel race.

Johnson took the lead late during the friendly contest, and it appeared that he would defeat the 15-time NBA All-Star. However, Shaq mounted a comeback and took the win by a score of 5-4.

One week after the contest, Carvana revealed the full Shaq-designed scheme, complete with the Dunkman logo. Now the only thing left for Johnson to do is qualify for the Great American Race while beating out several open entries controlled by Chandler Smith, JJ Yeley, Anthony Alfredo, and Martin Truex Jr. among others.
