According to a press release from Spire Motorsports, B'laster Holdings will serve as one of McDowell's primary sponsors during the 2025 season. The company known for penetrants, lubricants, cleaners, solvents, removers, grease, protectants, and refrigerants will take over the No. 71 Chevrolet Camaro for two races.

The first race featuring the B'laster scheme will be the Jack Link's 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on April 27. The scheme will return for the inaugural Cup Series race at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City on June 15.

The company will also serve as a season-long associate partner for McDowell and the No. 71 team.

B'laster, which also previously supported BJ McLeod at Live Fast Motorsports, first joined forces with McDowell last season. The company took over his Front Row Motorsports Ford Mustang for the fall race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. McDowell won the pole for the fifth time.

"I'm thrilled to have the B'laster team join me at Spire Motorsports in 2025," McDowell said in a statement. "B'laster was with me last year and I am thankful to have them partner with our No. 71 team.

"B'laster is so important to both the automotive and powersports spaces and their products are second to none. I hope I can take the B'laster colors to victory lane and make the most of our partnership."

The Arizona native comes to Spire Motorsports with 501 starts at NASCAR's top level. He has been full-time in the Cup Series since 2017 while driving primarily for Front Row Motorsports.

McDowell achieved success for the Bob Jenkins-owned team. He won the 2021 Daytona 500 after a last-lap crash involving Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano. McDowell won the road course race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2023 after a dominant performance.

He now joins the revamped Spire Motorsports lineup featuring another veteran and a second-year driver. Carson Hocevar will return to the No. 77 after winning Rookie of the Year. Justin Haley will return to the No. 7 after a midseason trade brought him back into the Spire Motorsports fold.
