The reigning Supercars champion is ready to take on the NASCAR Cup Series once again after a debut last season at Sonoma Raceway.

Will Brown, who won the Supercars title in his first season with Triple Eight Race Engineering, provided the revelation while recording a podcast with teammate Broc Feeney and former Supercars champion James Courtney. He did not provide information about the team he will join, but he set a tentative schedule.
"Hopefully, two NASCAR races I'd like to do," Brown said during the latest episode of the "Drivers Only" podcast. "That's the plan. ...So I'll say one, but hopefully, two if the car's available."
Which NASCAR races are on Brown's list? Feeney joked that they would take place at Talladega and Daytona.
Brown did not specifically name the two races, but he indicated it would be easy to figure out. All the listeners had to do was compare the NASCAR and Supercars schedules.
One event that fits with the Supercars schedule is at Circuit of the Americas. The Texas road course hosts Xfinity and Cup teams on March 1-2. This falls between the Sydney 500 in late February and the Melbourne SuperSprint in mid-March.
Sonoma, the track where Brown made his NASCAR debut, will not see his return. The NASCAR weekend moved from mid-June to July 12-13. This falls on the same weekend that the Supercars teams compete in the NTI Townsville 500.
Courtney pressed a bit and obtained some more information from Brown about the other race on his list.
"I guess Chicago's one I want to do," Brown said. "But a lot of the guys over there want to do it, so if a car's available, a team's available. So waiting to hear on that one.
"That'd be awesome if I could try to do that, but I'd be happy to do Xfinity if I couldn't get that (Cup car)."
Brown made the leap to the NASCAR Cup Series last June as he joined forces with Richard Childress Racing. He took over the No. 33 Chevrolet Camaro and delivered the third-fastest lap during practice.
However, he started 24th due to power issues in qualifying. An electrical issue during the race then led to him finishing 33rd.
Despite the issues that sent the No. 33 to pit road, Brown expressed excitement about making his NASCAR debut. He said the racing was similar to Supercars and indicated that he wanted to return.
Based on his comments on the podcast, he will have that opportunity in 2025.
