Series organizers have revealed that Supercars will return to Phillip Island from 2027-31. The Victoria, Australia, circuit will host a Finals round event. The exact date will remain under wraps until Supercars releases the full 2027 schedule.
"Phillip Island is one of the most spectacular and recognisable circuits in Australia, and we're excited by the opportunity to bring the Repco Supercars Championship back to this beloved venue," Australian Grand Prix Corporation CEO Travis Auld said.
"We have a proven track record delivering world-class sporting events, and we're looking forward to working closely with Supercars, the Victorian Government and local stakeholders, with the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit providing the perfect stage."

This will mark the first time since the 2019 season that Phillip Island has hosted the racing series. Fabian Coulthard and Scott McLaughlin won the Supercars races at the circuit in 2019.
McLaughlin, a three-time Supercars champion who now competes in the NTT IndyCar Series, actually scored seven of his 56 career wins at the 4.445-kilometer road course
Phillip Island has previously hosted both season-opening and season-ending events. It has continued to host other racing series since the departure of Supercars.
Shane van Gisbergen, who now competes in the NASCAR Cup Series, scored three podium finishes at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit during his career.
"As we celebrate 30 years of Supercars in 2027, it feels incredibly fitting to return to Phillip Island, a circuit that formed part of our championship in 1997 and holds a special place in the history of our sport," Barclay Nettlefold, Supercars executive chairman and acting CEO, said.
"Phillip Island is an iconic venue that has delivered some memorable moments for Supercars, and we're incredibly excited to bring the championship back and create a new chapter in that history for our fans, teams and drivers."
