According to a press release, veteran play-by-play man Adam Alexander will lead the way as the biggest names in NASCAR compete. Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. will join TNT Sports as an analyst for the five-race stretch that starts with the summer Atlanta race.

Veteran crew chief-turned-analyst Steve Letarte will reunite with Earnhardt as he joins the TNT Sports booth. Letarte will join TNT Sports while also continuing to work on NBC Sports' NASCAR team.

"We are excited to welcome Adam and Steve to the TNT Sports family, joining Dale in the booth to give racing fans a thoughtful, entertaining, and engaging experience," said Craig Barry, Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer at TNT Sports.

"Their passion and knowledge for the sport, delivered in a more conversational format, will create a compelling narrative for each race and enhance the coverage for viewers as NASCAR returns to our platforms next year."

Alexander will make the move after multiple seasons at Fox Sports in which he led the Xfinity Series booth and worked with a rotating lineup of analysts. Alexander also shared the Craftsman Truck Series booth with Jamie Little last season.

This move to TNT Sports will be a reunion for the veteran sportscaster considering that Alexander was a play-by-play commentator for NASCAR on TNT from 2010-2014.

As the press release revealed, this broadcast group will not only work together during the TNT Sports portion of the Cup Series schedule. Alexander, Earnhardt, and Letarte will also form the lineup for Prime Video's five races as NASCAR moves into the first year of its expanded TV deal.

The Prime Video stretch begins with the Coca-Cola 600 crown jewel race. It continues with Nashville, Michigan, Mexico City, and Pocono.

TNT Sports' stretch of the season then starts with Atlanta and continues with Chicago, Sonoma, Dover, and the Brickyard 400 crown jewel race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

"It's so nostalgic to see TNT Sports return to NASCAR," Earnhardt said. "I enjoyed watching their coverage back in the day. I'm looking forward to being a part of the team and working with Adam (Alexander) and (Steve) Letarte."
