Travis Pastrana is out to make history yet again. He will attempt a massive stunt on the White House lawn.

The action sports icon dropped the news on Tuesday, June 9, with a post on the Nitro Circus social media channels. He showed himself in a conversation with Dana White as they discussed a surprising request.
"You grabbed me at Power Slap and said, 'I want to do a backflip on the South Lawn of the White House,'" White told Pastrana over a video call. "And I said, 'Interesting. All right, let me see what I can do.'"

Pastrana said that he thought this answer was simply a nice "No," but White informed him that he was incorrect. The UFC CEO said that this jump is a done deal.
"That's a yes?" Pastrana asked. "We're back-flipping the White House lawn?" The video then cut to black and revealed that this jump will actually take place on Saturday, June 13.
White is a fitting person to have on this call considering that he leads Thrill Sports, the company that oversees Nitro Circus, Power Slap, and Street League Skateboarding. He also has connections to President Donald Trump, the man currently residing in the White House.
Nitro Circus did not provide any more details about this jump and why it will take place. Obviously, making history by doing a backflip on the White House lawn is a good enough reason, but Pastrana will likely have an opportunity to promote something close to his heart.
The Nitro Circus live tour is heading out across North America this August as 14 action sports athletes showcase their skills for packed arenas. They will jump off ramps using a wide variety of implements as they entertain fans in New York, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Ontario, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and South Carolina among other destinations.
Pastrana has already used an unique opportunity to promote this live tour. He hopped onto a dirt bike and rode it through the the off-Strip Boulder Station Hotel and Casino. He did a wheelie through the main gambling floor before riding off to the exit doors.
