AVONDALE, Ariz. — The Craftsman Truck Series championship trophy returns to ThorSport Racing after a dominant performance by Ty Majeski at Phoenix Raceway.

The Wisconsin native, who started on the pole, was by far the fastest of the Championship 4 drivers. He led 132 of the 150 laps, won stage 2, and built up a lead of more than four seconds over fellow championship driver Corey Heim. Majeski won his third race of the season and clinched the first title of his career.
Heim crossed the finish line second overall. Christian Eckes finished third. Grant Enfinger rounded out the Championship 4 drivers with a fifth-place finish.

"This is so much fun racing with this group," Majeski said after the race. "So proud to have the opportunity to drive these great race trucks.
"There's a lot of times in my career where this looked like a far dream, and Duke and Rhonda Thorson really gave me my third opportunity after I had two opportunities that failed, and man, I can't thank them enough."

ThorSport Racing has won three of the past four Truck Series championships. Ben Rhodes won the title in 2021 and '23. This is ThorSport Racing's sixth Truck Series title. Matt Crafton has the other three.
Stage 1: Corey Heim won stage 1 after a caution for Frankie Muniz and William Sawalich. Ty Majeski, Christian Eckes, Nick Sanchez, Grant Enfinger, Dean Thompson, Connor Mosack, Layne Riggs, Conner Jones, and Stewart Friesen were top 10.
Stage 2: Ty Majeski won stage 2. Corey Heim, Layne Riggs, Nick Sanchez, Christian Eckes, Connor Mosack, Grant Enfinger, Taylor Gray, Stewart Friesen, and Ben Rhodes were top 10.
Notable: Majeski is the fourth Truck Series champion from the state of Wisconsin. The others are Travis Kvapil (2003 champion, Janesville), Ted Musgrave (2005 champion, Franklin), and Johnny Sauter (2016 champion, Necedah).
Crew chief Joe Shear Jr., who also won the Truck title with Johnny Sauter in 2016, became the seventh crew chief to win multiple Truck titles. He joined Carl Joiner (2013, 2014, 2019), Dennis Connor (1997, 1999, 2001), Mike Hillman Jr. (2006, 2010), Rick Ren (2007, 2009), Ryan Fugle (2015, 2017), and Rich Lushes (2021, 2023).
