Running 13.1 miles apparently wasn't difficult enough.

Runners competing in the Racefaster Half Marathon in Paramus, New Jersey, found themselves wading through floodwaters that reached as high as their waists Sunday after torrential rain overwhelmed portions of the course.
Former Bachelorette contestant Zac Clark was among them, and he captured video of the surreal scene.
"Bro, this is nuts!" Clark said as his camera showed runners making their way through the flooded course.
At points, competitors could be seen holding onto railings while navigating the water. Clark nevertheless finished the race and placed third in his age group.
The bigger question is why the race happened at all.
The event originally was scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. but was pushed back two hours despite flash-flood warnings in the area. Paramus received roughly four to five inches of rain Sunday, with particularly severe flooding around the Saddle River.
Some participants later questioned the decision to proceed.
Remarkably, about 250 runners still completed the race. Organizers had not publicly explained their decision to continue as of Monday.
So much for chasing a personal best. At some point, this thing became a triathlon.
