Channing Tatum brings some 'Magic Mike' to Wrexham AFC

Channing Tatum has gotten back into his "Magic Mike" persona and used it for a new purpose. He has shown Wrexham AFC how to properly celebrate after big plays.

The partnership happened during a commercial for SToK Cold Brew Coffee. Tatum burst into the soccer team's locker room and informed the players that their bosses — Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney — were not happy...with the celebrations on the field.

Tatum took a sip of SToK and then began performing a routine for the team. He incorporated some breakdancing moves, some pelvic thrusts, and a lot of eye contact. The players, as it turns out, were quick learners as they joined in on the dancing.

They just took the routine a little further than Tatum expected.

"No, no. I promised Ryan and Rob I'd keep it classy," Tatum said after a jersey hit him in the face. "Everyone put your clothes back on!"

The commercial for SToK Cold Brew Coffee answers a question that has lingered for several weeks. Tatum and Reynolds had both posted multiple photos on Instagram showing them together at Wrexham AFC. They did not provide any context.

The answer is now public. Tatum was filming a commercial for the Welsh football club. According to People, this ad will also air during Super Bowl 59 on Sunday, Feb. 9.

"This is kind of a weird dream come true," Tatum said during an exclusive interview with People. "I never imagined it would come around like this! But it was so much fun."

As Tatum, a former dancer, explained, these were not his moves. He said that the players came up with "well over 50%" of the moves he performed. He added that they filmed enough content for a five-minute commercial before cutting it down to the required length for the Super Bowl.

This commercial is not the first time that Tatum and Reynolds have joined forces. They both appeared in "Deadpool & Wolverine." Reynolds, of course, played Deadpool. Tatum made a cameo as Gambit, a member of the X-Men. This was a nod to the previously-planned movie focused on the character.

Another crossover occurred in Reynold's 2021 film, "Free Guy." Tatum played one of the in-game characters and made multiple appearances. Like the SToK commercial, he also performed some dances.
