That is to say, the 39-year-old Al Nassr player took part in a contest organized by YouTuber MrBeast.

The video hit 50 million views in just 24 hours.

In view of the challenge, Ronaldo went head-to-head with a lucky subscriber of MrBeast's YouTube channel. The guy was identified as a fan named Khalid, who referred to himself as Ronaldo's #1 fan.

When asked what his chances were to win, Khalid gave Mr. Beast a surprising answer, "Honestly I think it's 50-50."

Then Ronaldo replied: "I like him to be confident."

If they weren't already nervous, before they started MrBeast reminded them 100 million people would be watching their performance.

Ronaldo happened to miss all of his attempts, while Khalid made two of his four attempts, so he just needed to hit one more target to win the big seven-figure check.

After Ronaldo gave Khalid some encouragement, Mr Beast responded: "I think Ronaldo wants me to lose a million dollars."

In what may have been the biggest moment of his life, Khalid struck the target for the third time on his fifth shot. Ronaldo shared in the celebration, saying to him: "I'm so proud of you, my friend."

Some say the five-time Ballon d'Or winner may have let Khalid win. Nevertheless, it was an impressive performance by the fan to say the least.

For those who didn't know, MrBeast also appeared on Ronaldo's YouTube channel, and this is when he announced the challenge.

Impressively, Ronaldo has already accumulated 70+ million subscribers, and he just made his YouTube account towards the end of the summer.

Currently, MrBeast has over 334+ million subscribers, so the Portugal captain still has a ways to go before breaking yet another record.
