The buffet restaurant chain is a common site across the United States, so the people who live here don't view it as anything out of the ordinary. This not the case for World Cup fans, including a Swedish fan named Elsa.
She live-tweeted her first experience eating at the Golden Corral and revealed that she truly enjoyed the experience.

According to the updates on X, Elsa sampled a variety of food at the Golden Corral. She tried the fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, green beans, sweet potatoes, and corn pudding.
And while she didn't know if the marshmallow should have gone on the sweet potatoes, she certainly enjoyed the flavor.
"The worst part is you think we're pandering or lying," Elsa added on X. "No, our food really is just that bland hahhaha."
Elsa has spent time on social media documenting her trip across the United States. She has highlighted stops in Indianapolis, San Francisco, and other areas while showcasing her newfound love for ranch sauce. Her journeys will only continue as she spends the next month exploring.
The Golden Corral is not the only restaurant getting some attention from World Cup attendees. These fans have traveled to the United States and have taken in the full experience. This includes trying out the various chain restaurants that sit in shopping centers across the country.
Some fans have tried out the Texas Roadhouse and the restaurant's signature dinner rolls. Others have headed to Raising Cane's so that they could get some chicken tenders. Many fans went to the Cracker Barrel to take in the unique atmosphere.
Some fans went for the full experience, meaning that they waited until 1 a.m. to sit down at a Waffle House and order some breakfast food.
