Netflix's USA 94: Brazil's Return to Glory takes fans back to the 1994 FIFA World Cup, when Brazil captured its fourth world championship and reestablished itself as an international powerhouse.

The documentary features interviews with members of the Brazilian squad, as well as opponents who witnessed the tournament firsthand. Perhaps most notably, the film includes previously unseen behind-the-scenes footage recorded by the players themselves during the World Cup.

For Brazil, the victory represented far more than just another trophy.

The nation's last World Cup title had come in 1970, and despite producing generations of elite talent, Brazil endured a lengthy drought by its lofty standards. That changed in the summer of 1994 when the Seleção traveled to the United States and put together a tournament run that ended with a dramatic victory over Italy in the final.

Led by stars such as Romário, Bebeto and captain Dunga, Brazil claimed its first World Cup championship in 24 years and returned to the top of the soccer world.

The new documentary aims to give fans a closer look at what happened behind the scenes during that historic journey.

Along with game footage and interviews, the film highlights the emotions, challenges and pressure surrounding a team carrying the expectations of an entire nation.

More than three decades later, Brazil's 1994 squad remains one of the most celebrated teams in the country's rich soccer history.

Now, fans have an opportunity to revisit the championship run through the eyes of the players who lived it.
