For those that don't remember, Brandi Chastain is the woman who scored the game-winning PK in the 1999 Women's World Cup Final against China. With the 2015 U.S. women's national team on the verge of clinching another World Cup victory, one male fan decided to celebrate by pulling off his best Brandi Chastain impersonation.
The commitment here is simply outstanding. If the wig, shirt, shorts, and medal were not already on point, the fan even included fake turf on the stairs and struck Chastain's now iconic pose.
The 2015 team hopes to catch lightning in a bottle just like Chastain did in 1999, as they will take on the winner of England-Japan on Sunday.
