Wild Fistfight Breaks Out In Stands At US-Mexico Soccer Clash

Fans of the United States and Mexico soccer clubs share a continent but apparently, not much else.

At least, that was the case between some fans at the CONCACAF Nations League final at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas — which the U.S. won by a 2-0 count.

More specifically, some Team Mexico fans had clearly had enough of the gloating by a U.S. soccer supporter and made it known in a fairly violent manner. And that would be to say by using their fists.

The end result was a wild brawl, that just happened to be captured on video and shared by TMZ Sports.

It all started when a man dressed in red, white and blue cheered on his club in what Mexico fans may have believed was over-the-top. So one Mexico fan decked him. Then things got crazy, with fists— and someone's drink — flying through the stands.

The fight seemed to end when the man in the American flag fell backward over the seats.

Things went so viral that CONCACAF officials released a statement on the ordeal.
