Joy Taylor Named in Sexual Harassment Suit

Taylor was named host of the program despite having a very minuscule amount of experience in the sports journalism field — which was a headscratcher for many. And now, fans may have more insight into the reason for that.

Taylor was named in a bombshell sexual harassment suit that alleges that she and several other Fox employees and former employees either participated or were complicit in the ongoing harassment of a former hairdresser at the network.

"A former Fox Sports hairstylist alleged in a lawsuit that a network executive used "his position to sexually harass women," as well as that Skip Bayless touched her inappropriately and propositioned her for sex," the report reads.

"Noushin Faraji, who says she worked at Fox Sports from 2012 through last August, made a series of allegations in the 42-page lawsuit obtained by Front Office Sports. Fox, Fox Sports, FS1, FS2, FOX Sports EVP Charlie Dixon, Bayless, and FS1 host Joy Taylor are listed as defendants in the lawsuit filed on Friday."

Fans went scorched earth on Taylor after the news dropped

"Didn't joy taylor get on here saying she "earned" her position??" one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Joy Taylor was letting Emmanuel Acho have his way smh," another fan added.

Analyst Had Affair With Network EVP to Land Prominent Position

The suit alleges that Taylor was having an affair with Fox Sports Executive Vice President Charlie Dixon, who was also married and used his influence to get her the role on FS1.

"It came as a surprise when Fox announced that Ms. Taylor—who was a bartender and radio host in Miami with very little TV experience—would be the moderator of the new show, a sports debate

program, Skip and Shannon: Undisputed," the suit adds.

"Mr. Bayless later disclosed to Ms. Faraji that he did not want Ms. Taylor on the show. But Mr. Dixon was adamant that Ms. Taylor should star. At first, Mr. Dixon arranged a dinner between Mr. Bayless and Ms. Taylor where she arrived in provocative clothing and acted in a provocative manner. When that did not change Mr. Bayless's opinion of Ms. Taylor, Mr. Dixon asked him toapprove of her as a favor to him. Reluctantly, Mr. Bayless agreed to do so as a favor to his friend."
