Hockey Goalie And Model Mikayla Demaiter Takes Blame For Heat Wave

Mikayla Demaiter was once a hockey goalie. Now, she's taking the blame for things that could melt the ice. Or so they say.

More specifically, Demaiter donned a skin-tight dress in a social media post in which she took responsibility for the heat wave that's taken over parts of the United States and her native land of Canada.

"Sorry for the heat wave," she captioned a series of fairly steamy pics.

Per The Blast:

"Mikayla gave her fans something to talk about as she posed in a tiny purple dress that stood out against her sun-kissed skin. She paired the look with a beaded necklace as she posed with her hands on her hips, showing off her curvy figure with one lean leg planted in front of the other."

And right after the Florida Panthers claimed the Stanley Cup title, no less.

This isn't her first foray into bringing the heat, of course.

"In December 2023, the popular model left jaws on the floor when she posed in a floral set that looked perfect for summer weather," The Blast wrote. "She wore a sleeveless white top and matching skirt that was decorated with a floral pattern. Fans who swipe through the carousel were treated to a photo of Mikayla squatting down low as she faced the camera, showing off her pedicure in open-toe pink heels."

Demaiter is a former goalie for the Bluewater Hawks of the Provincial Women's Hockey League — but it's what she's doing today that has her making the ice melt. And if not the ice, all the guys who frequent the Internet.

Demaiter, who spent time with the minor-league Hawks during the 2018-19 season, is now using her 15 minutes of hockey fame to find wild success as a model.

It's worked out well, as she has more than 3.2 million followers on Instagram, as well as a popular OnlyFans page. No surprise there.

Demaiter actually quit playing hockey as a career at the age of 19, when she suffered a knee injury that required surgery.

Beyond that, not much is known about Demaiter, other than she's now 23 and from Canada. And her transition from hockey goalie to model has clearly been a seamless one.
