Fox's reboot is stacking the cast with influencers, and the latest addition is the former LSU gymnast and internet star.

Dunne, who has around 13 million followers, is set to play Grace, an ultra-enthusiastic junior lifeguard in the upcoming series, Deadline relayed. It also marks her first real acting role after retiring from gymnastics in 2025.

So yeah, this isn't just a cameo. It's the start of something new, and she's not alone.

The reboot is leaning heavily into star power from outside traditional Hollywood. Noah Beck, Shay Mitchell, and Brooks Nader are already on board, bringing massive followings with them.

This is Baywatch 2.0 and it's built for the internet era.

Stephen Amell leads the series as Hobie Buchannon, now a captain following in the footsteps of his legendary father. The show will mix high-stakes rescues with plenty of drama, including a storyline involving Hobie's long-lost daughter joining the team.

Translation? Same Baywatch vibes. New audience.

Dunne seems all-in already. A day after the casting news dropped, she posted photos from Venice Beach, including one reading a script, with the caption, "I'm not a lifeguard, but I play one on TV."

Production is ramping up ahead of the show's planned 2026-27 debut.
