The man who played a young Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is getting a pretty sizable promotion.

Uli Latukefu has landed the role of Ganondorf, the primary villain in Sony and Nintendo's upcoming live-action "The Legend of Zelda" movie, according to Deadline.
And apparently this won't necessarily be a one-and-done appearance.
Deadline reports that Latukefu has signed a multi-picture deal to play Ganondorf, the powerful villain who has spent decades making life miserable for Link and Princess Zelda in Nintendo's wildly popular video game franchise.
Latukefu joins Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, who will play Link, and Bo Bragason, who has been cast as Princess Zelda.
The movie is being directed by Wes Ball, whose credits include the "Maze Runner" films and "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes." It's scheduled to hit theaters May 7, 2027.
Sports fans may recognize Latukefu from a couple of places.
He starred as the college-aged version of Johnson on NBC's "Young Rock," which chronicled the future WWE superstar's life before he became one of the biggest names in entertainment.
Latukefu also appeared in 2023's "Next Goal Wins," the sports comedy about the famously struggling American Samoa national soccer team and its attempt to qualify for the World Cup.
Now he's stepping into an entirely different world.
"The Legend of Zelda" has been around since 1986 and has sold more than 150 million games across its various installments.
That's a whole lot of Zelda fans who will soon get their first look at the former "Young Rock" star as one of gaming's most famous bad guys.
