6'5" Four-star DE Malcolm Lamar has two rivals sticking out in his recruitment

We could have yet another close recruiting battle on our hands.

Four-star defensive end Malcolm Lamar is on the rise in the class of 2018 and it looks like some major schools are taking notice. His offer count is up in the 20s and he told Ryan Bartow of 247Sports that there are two programs in particular that are sticking out to him right now.

The Armwood High School (Florida) product is a 6'5", 250-pound beast that says he wants to visit Alabama and he feels like Gainesville is "home" for him. However, even though he hasn't been to Alabama he still has the Crimson Tide at the top of his list with the home state Gators.

Lamar is ranked as the No. 12 strong side defensive end in the class and the No. 49 recruit in the state of Florida. He has offers from Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, Miami and quite a few others. Right now, he is projected (with three predictions) at 100% to go to Florida.
