Florida State quarterback Deondre Francois has been phenomenal this season with his 3,128 passing yards, 18 passing touchdowns and four rushing touchdowns. He was thrust into the role when expected starter Sean Maguire to start the season and he never let go of the starting spot.

He was so impressive during the course of the season that he won four ACC Rookie of the Week honors and that was enough for the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA) to vote him ACC Rookie of the Year as well. He was also named the ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year for his efforts.
He is one of just three FSU freshmen quarterbacks in the last 30 years to surpass 3,000 passing yards (Jameis Winston in 2013 and Drew Weatherford in 2005). Francois has completed 60.6 percent of his passes while rushing for an additional 189 yards.
