After Colin Kaepernick-like speculation, Doug Baldwin and Seahawks announce pregame plans for Sunday

Will any other teams follow suit?

Despite rumors that there would be a protest but the Seattle Seahawks before their season-opener Sunday, Doug Baldwin announced the team will stand and lock arms during the national anthem.

On the 15th anniversary of 9/11, Baldwin and the Seahawks will take their stand in the form of love and unity a week after teammate Jeremy Lane sat during the anthem.

Here's the transcription of the video, via PFT:

"We are a team comprised of individuals with diverse backgrounds, and as a team we have decided to stand and interlock arms in unity," Baldwin says in the 42-second video posted at his Twitter page. "We honor those who have fought for the freedom we cherish, and we stand to ensure the riches of freedom and the security of justice for all people. Progress can and will be made only if we stand together."

There has been no word on if Kaepernick will kneel, sit or stand during the anthem. We'll see if any other teams do the same.
