On the 25th anniversary of Florida State's wide right kick in 1991 there was bound to be some kicking woes that screwed someone in this FSU-Miami rivalry. Fortunately for the Seminoles it was not them this time. Leading 20-13 late in the fourth quarter, the Hurricanes reeled off a huge punt return into the red zone.

Quarterback Brad Kaaya hit Stacy Coley on fourth down for a touchdown to make it 20-19, FSU. All the Canes had to do was kick the PAT and send this game into overtime, right? Well, after ESPN's Chris Fowler jinxed kicker Pat Badgley he got his kick blocked by DeMarcus Walker of FSU to preserve the Noles win.

Perhaps the blocked kick came from all the bad karma that Miami fans put out on that field after throwing objects onto it after a controversial targeting call. Or you know, Walker just made a great play. That's an explanation too. But the question is: what will we call this game going forward? I think this is the answer:
Call it "The Block at Hard Rock"

Hard Rock of course refers to the stadium name in Miami and that is probably the perfect name for it.
