The top-ranked recruiting class in college football, Alabama, will be without four-star defensive tackle Akial Byers.

Byers will be heading to the JUCO school after he failed to qualify to enroll at Alabama, per SDS.
The 6'4", 275-pound Byers was the No. 2 recruit in Arkansas and the No. 17 overall defensive tackle.
He had offers from top programs such as Florida State, Michigan and Ohio State, but surprisingly didn't hold an offer from hometown Arkansas.
