Right now it is safe to say that Alabama's interior offensive line is a jumbled mess. After two games Bama has been able to establish zero consistency at guard leading Nick Saban to try a myriad of combinations at the position. Alabama is by no means in bad shape, but the interior line is definitely not a strength right now and has been a major factor in the running game getting off to a rough start.

Saban addressed the offensive line during his final press conference before Ole Miss Wednesday.
"Last week we played Shank half the game, aight, at right guard," head coach Nick Saban said. "And we practiced Ross back at left guard, Shank at right guard, Lester Cotton at left guard, and we feel confident in all three of those players. Obviously Shank and Ross have more experience because they started for a whole season, and I think that experience may be beneficial to them in this game.
"But we have not decided who we're starting at those positions yet."
Alabama has the talent, now the talent just needs to produce. A good running game will be vital to any success Bama will have this year. It will be tough to ask a true freshman quarterback to win without one and until the guard positions are sorted out Alabama may continue to struggle running the football.
