Baylor has reportedly earned an interview with another head coach candidate

They really need this guy.

After striking out on multiple candidates, it now appears that Baylor may actually be zeroing in on a legitimate target for their head coach opening.

According to Pat Forde of Yahoo Sports, Baylor will have an interview on Sunday with Western Kentucky head coach Jeff Brohm.

Jeff Brohm is expected to meet Sunday with Baylor about its coaching vacancy, sources told Yahoo Sports, and Purdue has expressed some interest in Brohm, as well.

Brohm and his Western Kentucky team won the Conference-USA title on Saturday with a win over Louisiana Tech. The Hilltoppers have won the C-USA in back-to-back years under Brohm, and the team overall is 30-10 in three seasons under his tenure.

Jim Grobe is currently serving as the interim head coach at Baylor. Former head coach Art Briles was fired back in May after an investigation found that the program had misreported several sexual assaults by the team's players.
