Brandon Marshall, sticking up for current QB, says Ryan Fitzpatrick deserves to be called "elite." #nyj

To Fitzpatrick's credit, he did throw for nearly 4,000 yards and 31 touchdowns in 2015.
Is that enough to place him amongst the league's elite with Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees'? Of course not.
We've never seen Marshall back a quarterback as fervently as he has Fitzpatrick, and this may be the reason: unrealistic expectations.
Fitzpatrick has never appeared in a playoff game, and we find it hard to believe a 33-year-old quarterback coming off a career year can replicate that.
