Head coach Chip Kelly of the San Francisco 49ers took up for quarterback Colin Kaepernick when a reporter at a press conference asked what Kelly's feelings were when Kaepernick "takes over the room."

Kelly responded that he didn't think Kaepernick took over the room, which the reporter replied "Oh, he did!"
Kelly, clearly miffed with the reporters dismissal of his own opinion (which he asked for), replied, "Well, I can give you my opinion."
Kelly was already on record as supporting Kaepernick's protest, calling the recent events that have occurred "heinous."
"We all have inalienable rights as a citizen of this country and they're being violated and that's what I think Colin is standing up for."
