Deshaun Watson says if he hadn't gone to Clemson, Ohio State was his second choice. Recruited him hard.

It's hard to say if Watson is just saying that because the two teams are meeting in the Fiesta Bowl on New Year's Eve or if he actually means that. There wasn't a whole lot of mention of Ohio State landing him and it would have been pretty weird having him on a roster with J.T. Barrett, Cardale Jones and Braxton Miller at one point. He might have been able to get a start because of injuries in 2014, but it's hard to gauge when he might have been able to take over that offense and become the player he is today.
