Clemson grad transfer finds new home where he can make "instant impact"

This came out of nowhere.

Clemson already knew it was losing running back Tyshon Dye to a graduate transfer and it looks like he won't be headed to an ACC rival after all. Dye came away impressed with Miami after his first visit, but it looks like he will be staying somewhere closer to where he attended undergrad.

Dye finished with 16 game appearances, five touchdowns and 351 rushing yards in his three years at Clemson. He had the unfortunate luck of playing behind the ultimate workhorse in Wayne Gallman, but should be able to break out at ECU where he should get the nod to start from day one.
